ASME Qld will be presenting a series of PD opportunities in 2012. While we will continue to offer PD targeted at all sectors of Music Education in Queenslands, in 2012 there will be an increased focus on the impact of The Arts National Curriculum.
Further details of our exciting 2012 PD series will be published here soon.
Congratulations to all of the students who entered in this year's competition. With a record number of entries across all sections, YCC 2011 was incredibly successful.
ASME Qld is currently working on a new website in preparation for 2012. The new website will re-establish an online portal for the chapter and provide access to the latest information relating to Music Education in Queensland. Please come back often and discover the new additional resources that will be added over the next 2 months.
The Music Education Research and Innovation (MERI) Journal is a bi-annual publication from ASME Qld which features leading research articles from academic and professional practitioners from around Australia and beyond. It is edited by Associate Professor Elizabeth Mackinlay from the University of Queensland.
